To fulfill the needs of its customers, SBI provides a variety of KYC forms. Annexures A, B, and C are some examples of variations of these SBI KYC forms. But today, we’re going to talk about SBI KYC Annexure A.

“KYC Annexure A SBI” helps its customers to update their KYC, but only if there have been no changes made to their official identity documents (Aadhar, PAN) from the last date of KYC submission. Let’s use the example below to better understand it.

  • Last year, after opening an SBI savings account, Ravi finished the KYC process. As formal identity documents for KYC, he provided his PAN card and Aadhar card. Since last year, there have been no modifications to his PAN Card and Aadhar Card details.
  • But now, SBI staff has asked him to submit a KYC. In this case, Ravi needs to fill out the SBI KYC Form – Annexure A (assuming there have been no changes to official documentation).

The first option of the SBI KYC Form Annexure A is to write the name of the branch in which we have a bank account or where we have to submit KYC.

Account Number

Our next work is to write the account number of your bank account.

CKYCR Number

You have to write the CKYCR number. You can find it in your passbook or you can ask bank officials, they will assist you in this case.

OVDs Submitted to the Bank are Valid/Not Expired

If your Official Valid Documents (OVD) haven’t expired, you should tick the “YES” option otherwise you should tick “NO”.

If case you select “No”, you have to write down the expiry date of the document in this KYC form.

Name

In this section, you have to enter the name of the person who wants his KYC done.

PAN Number (If Available)

Enter the PAN number of the Applicant.

Current Address

Write the full address of the KYC applicant like house number, landmark, city, district, state, pin, etc.

Occupation

In this section, you must specify what kind of work you do, such as Government Job, Doctor, Farmer, Student, etc.

Annual Income

Here, you have to write down the total amount of money you make each year.

Sources of Income

Now you have to tick the appropriate option from where you earn money. For example, if you do a government job, you should tick the “Salary” option. If you are a farmer, tick on the “Agriculture” option.

Mobile Number

Enter the mobile number of the KYC applicant.

Email ID

Write the applicant’s email address here for KYC.

Date & Place

Write the date on which you are filling out this KYC form and the place where you are completing this SBI KYC form in the respective field.

Signature & Name

Your final task is to write your name on the KYC application and sign it.
