Premature Withdrawal of PNB Housing Finance Fixed Deposit
PNB Housing Finance provides premature withdrawal of fixed deposits. You can withdraw your fixed deposit after the completion of 3 month lock-in period.
- 4% p.a. interest will be paid if you cancel your fixed deposit before six months.
- After six months, 1% less interest will be paid for the term for which the fixed deposit was taken.

Loan Facility on PNB Housing Finance FD
- A loan can be taken up to the 75% value of a Fixed Deposit.
- The facility is available for Cumulative and Non-cumulative schemes.
Types of PNB Housing Finance Fixed Deposit
1. Cumulative Deposit
In a Cumulative deposit, interest is credited to the fixed deposit and given to the depositor at the end of the maturity of the fixed deposit.
You can start a cumulative fixed deposit with a minimum of Rs.10,000.
2. Non-cumulative Deposit
In a Non-cumulative deposits, interest is paid to the depositor at the regular interval. This interval can be monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annually.
PNB Housing Finance accepts a minimum of Rs.25,000 for a monthly scheme.
While for other types of Non-cumulative deposits, the minimum amount of FD is Rs.10,000.
3. Joint Fixed Deposit
Joint Fixed Deposit can be open with up to 3 maximum people.
4. NRIs Fixed Deposit
NRIs Fixed Deposit can be open for 3 years only.
Interest will be credited to the depositor’s NRO account.
5. PNB Housing Corporate Deposit
Any Limited Companies, Corporations, Statutory Boards, Local Authorities, and other Banks & Financial Institutions can open Fixed Deposit.
The minimum fixed deposit amount is Rs.10,000.
