Friends, you can see that SBI Bank’s RTGS form is divided into two sections in the photo given below. First, we’ll learn how to fill the right side and then we will go to the left one.

The right part of the form is called Bank Copy which is kept by the bank employee for record. Now we will see the step-by-step process of filling this part.

  • At the very beginning of the forum, we will see two boxes, one NEFT and the other RTGS. If you want to do RTGS then tick the RTGS box.
  • After this, we have to enter the Date and Branch Code. You can ask for the branch code from the bank officer or fill it out by looking at your passbook.
  • Branch: In this option, we have to write the name of our branch.
  • Please remit the sum of Rs. In this option, you have to write the amount you want to transfer in words, and immediately after this, this amount has to be written in numbers.
  • By debiting my/our account No. In this option, you have to enter the A/C No. from which the money will be deducted.
  • (only NEFT), Cash (Only NEFT), Cheque (NEFT/RTGS) using cheque No. In this option, tick the medium you want to send the money. In this example, we are sending a cheque. After this we have to enter the cheque no. and date.
  • Name of the Beneficiary: Write the name of the person to whom you are sending the money here!
  • Beneficiary Bank & Branch: Here you have to write the bank name and branch name of the beneficiary/to whom you are sending money.
  • IFSC Code Enter the IFSC code of the beneficiary’s bank.
  • Beneficiary Account No. Here you have to write the beneficiary’s bank account number!
  • Amount (in Words) The amount you send must be written in words.
  • Amount (in figures) In this option, the amount has to be written in figures. Next to this, the option of Charges will come, there we have to write the amount the bank is charging us for RTGS. After this, the total amount has to be written.
  • Name of Applicant: The name of the person who is sending money from his account appears here.
  • Address: The address of the person who is sending the money has to be written here.
  • Mobile No. You have to enter your mobile number here.
  • Signature of Applicant(s) – Here the applicant/person sending the money has to sign.

The left part of the form is called the receiving copy which is given back to us by the bank employees! Now we will see the step-by-step process of filling this part.

  • Branch: The person who is sending the money has to write the name of his branch here.
  • The date: on which you do RTGS, that date has to be entered here.
  • Received: Here you have to write the amount you want to send.
  • From: Here you have to write the name of the person who is sending the money.
  • Cheque No.: Here we have to enter Cheque No. which we have used in RTGS.
  • The name of the beneficiary has to be written in favor.
  • Write the beneficiary’s account number in A/c No.
  • IFSC Code: Here the IFSC code of the beneficiary’s bank has to be entered.
  • Beneficiary Bank & Branch: Here the beneficiary has to write the name of the bank and branch.
  • Amount: Write the amount you are sending here!
  • Bank’s Charges: Write the amount charged by the bank for RTGS!
  • Total: Here you have to write the total of the amount you are sending and the bank charges. And this amount has to be written in words.

Necessary information to fill SBI RTGS form

To fill SBI RTGS form we need to have the following information!

  • The amount you wish to RTGS.
  • Purpose of sending money.
  • Beneficiary Name
  • Beneficiary Bank Name
  • Name of beneficiary’s bank branch
  • Beneficiary’s bank account number
  • IFSC code of beneficiary’s bank
  • Beneficiary’s mobile number

How to Do RTGS in SBI | SBI RTGS Process

A complete process of SBI bank RTGS has been explained below.

Step 1: First of all you have to go to the SBI bank branch and get the SBI RTGS form.

Step 2: After getting the form from the bank, fill in your details carefully!

Step 3: After this, you have to fill in the details of the account to which you want to send the money! While filling in all this information, take full care that the information does not go wrong!

Step 4: Write the amount you want to RTGS on the form!

Step 5: After filling all the details in the form, check it carefully and then submit it to the bank employees!

Step 6: After submitting the form to the bank employees, make sure to take your Acknowledgement Slip! Because this acknowledgment slip is the only proof we have of the amount of RTGS we are doing!

Step 7: Within 30 minutes of submitting the form to the bank, the amount is transferred from our account to the beneficiary’s account!

We also have to confirm after 1 hour whether our money has been transferred safely or not!

Precautions to Consider Before Completing the RTGS Form

While filling SBI RTGS (RTGS Form SBI Kaise Bhare) form, we have to take the following precautions!

  • Always fill in the information given in the form correctly.
  • Do not make any mistakes or cuts while filling out the form.
  • Please use a blue pen while filling out the form.
  • If there is any mistake in the form then our form may also get rejected.
  • While filling out the form, take special care that we have filled in all the information of the beneficiary correctly, otherwise, we may have to bear a huge loss.
  • Give the completed RTGS form to SBI bank personnel only. You can lose money if you mistakenly give it to someone else.

  3. How much amount can we send through SBI RTGS?

    RTGS Limit SBI: The minimum amount required to transmit money via RTGS is ₹200,000, while the highest amount you can send is unlimited.

    If you want to send an amount less than ₹2,00,000 to any person, then you can use SBI NEFT. The reason is that SBI NEFT allows you to send any amount between ₹1 and an unlimited amount.

  4. If the RTGS amount is not credited to the beneficiary’s account, does the amount get returned to the sender?

    Yes, if for any reason the funds cannot be credited to the beneficiary’s account then the amount is returned to the sender’s account.

  5. At what time in a day or week can the RTGS facility be availed?

    If you want to do RTGS in person, then the bank must be open. If the bank is closed, then you cannot do this work.
    But if you do RTGS online, then you can do it anytime during the day except at night between 11.50 P.M. and 00.30 A.M.
